What is the Eye Level Math Olympiad?

Eye Level Math Olympiad (also known as ELMO) is an annual global competition that began in 2004 . It is a test designed to challenge students’ math skills in a variety of areas, such as number and operations, algebra, geometry, measurement, data analysis, reasoning, problem solving, and critical thinking. ELMO is held every November and the number of participants have been growing each year.

Eye Level Math Olympiad aims to promote the mathematical skills of students of all levels around the world and to encourage students to strive for excellence.

Eye Level Math Olympiad covers the following areas of mathematics: Numbers & Arithmetic, Measurement, Equations (algebra), Reasoning, Problem Solving, Patterns and Relationships (Algebra), and Geometry.

It's participated by different countries such as USA, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, India, UAE, Australia, New Zealand, Kuwait, Myanmar, Russia, China,

Canada, United Kingdom, Greece, and Kazakhstan.
